Installation Instruction

Step 1: Bolt the aluminum adapter bar to your Tremec's shifter with the offset hole facing towards where you plan to mount the shifter.

Step 2: Sit down and position the shifter where you would like it to be.

Step 3: Mark the 2 holes for the mounting bracket using a marker and proceed to drill out the holes.

Step 4: Using the two 3/8 Bolt/nut/washer combo provided, bolt the mounting bracket onto the car/truck.

Step 5: Bolt the shift handle to the mounting bracket with the shorter spacer to the LEFT side of the heim joint and the longer spacer to the RIGHT side.

Step 6: Bolt the connecting rods to the adapter (place spare washer on either side of the adapter for a proper fit) and the shift handle's 3/8th hole (middle hole for 10 inch handles and top hole for 8 inch handles)

Step 7: Slide connecting rod clamps onto the connecting rod notches, using an allen key to tighten the small bolt until shifter play/twist is eliminated but be careful to not over tighten and strip the aluminum threads. You'll notice one rod has a larger notched than the other, this is to compensate for any mis alignment in the rods such as one being a half turn more extended than the other.



Stap 8: Enjoy your new, more comfortable, shifter location. :)
